All of the diamonds we acquire are GIA Certified and you will receive a copy of that Certificate even before you purchase your stone. Once your stone has left its country of origin, both you and Brisbane Diamond Exchange can track its journey into our office. All freight is FULLY INSURED and, once we have your stone, it is thoroughly examined by our Diamond Technologist to ensure that it is EXACTLY as stated on your GIA Certificate before we onforward it to you. Naturally, you will receive the original GIA Certificate with your stone.

All precious gems and metals are traded in $US, and the cost of diamonds will vary from day to day (and sometimes hour to hour!) with fluctuations in the $AUD conversion rate. As soon as you chosen your diamond, it is held at that particular rate for you, so you will know exactly where you stand.

After we have received payment from you and have clear funds , we transfer those funds directly to the relevant diamond factory. From there, the goods are shipped directly to us. When we have collected the goods, they are examined by our Diamond Technologist and forwarded to you. The whole process takes approximately 7 to 10 days and we like to allow another 2 days to have the goods checked, valued and couriered to you. If you are working to a specific day, we will do our best to make sure you have them by that date! Of course, you are able to track your items once they have left their country of origin so you can follow them en route to Australia.
